Apple US has a program http://www.apple.com/recycling/. I wish to upgrade my iPad 2 for an iPad mini when it is launched in Australia. Does anyone know of how I could do this or an organisation that does similar? I want to get the vaule of it so I can put it towards a 32GB + Cellular iPad Mini.

As an aside, unless you really want a smaller screen, the mini is not an upgrade (IMHO). 🙂

Yes, but that does not include iPad like the US site does. Just recycling and a 10% of an iPod if you trade in. I also do want the smaller screen, easier to put in my hand bag. Maybe I should just stick with eBay?

I would definitely give eBay a try. The price from Apple for an iPad 2 is set, so if yours is in good shape you should get a decent price. Be sure to clean it out first!
