wiki calendar permission denied issue

We have a mac server running our wiki with a calendar. It is tied to Active Directory for the authenication of the wiki. Our school staff can access the wiki and calendar fine. I have other business staff that can log into the wiki but get " you don't have permission to view this calendar". I thought it was a group issue so I removed all the groups from the user and added him to the same group as staff that are working and no dice. I have to test accounts that i added to the wiki permissions and they work fine. I am at a lost on this one.

Server is running version 10.6.8
