6.0.1 BROKE MY FACEBOOK APP!
on an iPhone4 & iPad (3rd gen)

if you have feed back go to apple.com/feedback this isnt the place. if you have a technical question are willing to do stuff then please explained what you have done so far
I have updated the OS, that's it! The app crashes! I am greatful I can still use Safari to access facebook.
Thank you for the link, I have submitted the issue. Funny though, when you choose which OS your iPad is on, the dropbox only gives OSX choices (10.8.2 etc), not iOS versions. They should fix that too.
Contact the developer and ask them to fix their app.

Looks like there is a bug with the new OS. My facebook close pretty often but not just Facebook and not just iPad but my iPhone and not just Facebook it also does it with other applications. I'm having the same problem with the newstand (popular science) and also other magazines in Zinio.
We should all complain to apple.

It's Facebook here not FaceTime.
I really don't know what's up, but everything is working now. When it wasn't working I tried a restart, reboot, shut down app etc. none of those procedures seemed to make any difference.
I had just retried a few minutes ago and all is well on both mi iPhone4 & iPad(3).
What I 'believe' is that the app was misbehaving and crashing because of some external conduit (Apple' or Facebook') that was not ready for the update. So, it may have resolved itself (I hope).

Try to sync with iTunes. This solve this issue with other users.
I just read an article on cult of Mac website...a lot of users are experiencing Facebook app crashes. It isn't iOS 6.0.1 and seems to be on facebooks end. It doesn't look like an update is needed to fix it, it says just be patient. In the meantime use safari.
Facebook was crashing for many, was all over the net like laxman linked to.
You see, I ain't 'was' crazy... LOL
