How do I delete all iMessage history and saved conversations ?

Actually wrong info, kind of.
From the screen where you see your conversations listed by contact name/number hit edit button.
Select the red minus sign to delete all messages from that contact.
You don't.
You have to delete each conversation individually.
All iMessage data is stored in the app.
Go under each conversation, press the edit button at the top. Hit clear all.
I!m ok with deleting chat and persons ,but when I search ipad for i.e. S it shows all iMessage chat history containing S or S in contacts name even tho I deleted chat and persons ? How do I delete old conversations that are saved somewhere in the ipad ?
Where does ipad save chat history to and how to delete it ?
