Time of selected clips

How can I find the total time of selected clips in a sequence? I'm using the '09 version but it's probably the same for version '11.

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Click on the first and last clip in the sequence while holding down the shift key, then it should show at the bottom of the window.
