I recently upgraded my ram from 4 to 8 GB (I took out the 4 GB, then put in the new 8 GB of ram) and now I have 4 GB or ram that is not being used or in my computer.
I was wondering if I could use that same ram to put in a Windows PC that I have?
The ram is "Apple 4 GB MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo DDR3 PC8500 1066 MHz."
Or can someone give me a list of motherboards that would be compatable with this ram?

Well I know I can't use it with my old computer, that is why I was thinking of upgrading the motherboard.
But I am not to sure which is a good one...
I have seen some from $59 to $349, but I am a bit suspicioius why a motherboard would cost only $59 (it seems to cheap)...lol.
Check the specs for your particular PC - if you can use 204-pin PC3-8500 (1066 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM sticks i yor WIndows machine, they should work. Nothing too special about Mac memory - except that it preferes some brands over others, sometimes.
If your PC fits the specs, use it. If not, just put it into your RAM drawer (everyone does have a RAM drawer, right?).

Goodness, no, you're not alone! Hey, when I paid that $600+ for a single 1 MB module to put into my Macintosh II - and I installed 8 of them - I finally just had to stash them away in case they ever went up in value (they didn't).
