is there a possibility to arrange text in a circular or elliptic shape in pages?

Not in Pages. You will need to create it in a third party drawing program like Art Text or Sketch or Illustrator and import it as a pdf.

It is possible but tedious to do. Pages doesn't have an automatic feature doing it. Art text 2 should be a ggod application to try. If you want to try doing it manually read this article http://i-work-in-pages.blogspot.se/2010/03/curving-text-in-pages-suggestion.html
