The new Podcast app does not auto-download shows even though I've set all to auto-download. I've tripple-checked my settings, globally and manually set all to auto-download. Streaming isn't possible all the time - like on the subway or where coverage is spotty. Anyone else seeing this?

I'm seeing it too. It seems rather spotty. I have about 15 podcasts that sync in the app, and some seemingly will download automatically and others won't.
Another issue I'm having is getting the old ones to delete. I've told it the same thing... only keep the ones that are unplayed... yet after I've played them, they still tend to hang around...
Can I ask if I have auto-download set in Podasts in IOS and then download the same podcast in iTunes will I have 2 copies of the podcast or will iTunes know it has already been downloaded and not download it again? I'm just still confused about the interactions between this app and iTunes on the desktop.
