CocoaWget

Hello,

Does anybody knows how CocoaGet works ?
Cause i was about to download a game demo, when they suggested I download CocoaWget, saying that the demo was "heavy" and that cocoa woud make the download faster.. well, i thought it would do it's job by itself.. loll
Not.
My downloader took the file... i have 45 minutes to wait now.loll
Why didn't cocoa work ?
what information do i have to put in, i to even know those info ?...

Cocoa is a mystery loll

Thanks a lot

Cocoawget is a utility (actually a front end for the wget command-line program) intended for downloading web sites and providing resumable downloads (which some web and FTP clients do not) so that you don't always have to download a complete file again if the download stops partway through. wget does not accelerate downloads, so a file is going to take the same total amount of time to download with or without Cocoawget. If you were told by someone that use of Cocoawget would actually cause a file to download at a faster data rate, you were given inaccurate information.

You can read more about what wget does here.
