Do you mean your user password for an account on your MBP? If so, just start up whilst holding down the Command and R keys and boot to your Recovery partition. Go under the Utilities menu and open Terminal. In Terminal, type


resetpassword


...a small app will open allowing you to select the user for whom you want to change the password. Enter the new password (twice) and give yourself a 'hint' and then when you're finished reboot and you can use your new password.


If you're not writing of your user password - if you've an EFI password, for example, I can't help you.
