You are right, the apple font is wrong the non-apple ones are fine. If it is possible, apple should just use Khmer OS Battambang as their native font for Khmer as this font looks clean with proper spacing! Also, they can use the SBBIC Keyboard layout for their next release of MAC OS or update file or use the NiDA Keyboard layout as people are familiar with it already. It's also official.
There are a few issues that discourage Cambodians not to use MAC. First, when it comes to working with Khmer Unicode, especially for existing documents (Word). Second, the peripherals are a bit expensive and sometimes not working with others. How come we can't have VGA port for using with LCD projector and need to pay for an adapter? There are a few more. However, Mac are professional in many ways.

Could you explain that in more detail? Are you referring to non-Unicode Word documents? Or the fact that MS Word for Mac does not really support Khmer?

The case is that most fonts work for Khmer Script but when switching to English, while still using the same font, the English script won't work (only the square box).
Normally that should only happen when using a Khmer font with no Latin characters (like Kh Battambang) in an app which is not smart enough to switch to another font when the default does not have the required characters.
Unfortunately Mac Word is only a shadow of Win Word, and does not really support any RTL, Indic, or S.E. Asian script. Even Open/LibreOffice is usually better.
Thanks much for the additional info!

That is not the case, as you can see in my example, the first two lines are the Kh series (if not all, most don't come with latin scripts), but why they show up correctly? I agree with you that when the font don't come with latin script, there will problem, and I face this in Adobe Photoshop. However, the fist line (in second example) with square box is my font Kh MPS which comes with complete Latin Script and on windows it works like a charm on both office and adobe CS3+. It's not because Office Word on Windows change it to the default font, but when I changed font, every character changes, which means my font works well on Windows. This problem occurs even on Open/LibreOffice. If you have skype, we can talk so more details can be discussed better and in real time. My id is pisethinfo

I assume your font works OK on Apple apps?
I'm afraid I don't have any MS apps myself, as MS does not pretend to support any non-Latin scripts on a Mac other than Chinese/Japanese/Korean. It seems very strange, however, that your font would not display Latin on Mac Word. MS has some forums of its own for problems with their Mac products -- perhaps someone there would have some idea why that would happen.
Sigh! You know for the font problem, now one of my friend who like most Apple products, sells her MacBook Air and buys Laptop running Windows instead as her job requires her to work a lot with Khmer Unicode.

That's unfortunate. It is a huge problem in Arabic speaking countries. Some people think Microsoft deliberately cripples MS Office for Mac for non-Latin scripts in order to hold onto the Windows market position in these places.

That's nice, but nobody in these forums can tell you anything more about this than what you can read on Apple's web pages.
OS X has already had a Khmer keyboard since at least version 10.7. Do you really not see it?
To ask for a new feature in iOS, go to
PS Do you have any problem with "ka aa ro"? Polain Wisey never responded to my request.
iOS 8 not yet built in khmer font yet?

You will have to wait until it is released later this year to find out. In the meantime, try the Keyman app.
I just hope the next Final Cut Pro comes with Khmer Unicode support. I love FCP so much for it simplicity but hate it when I have to do subtitle in Khmer. Sigh! Poor Khmer.
