I have spoken with CoreMelt and verified the info in the article. Yes, it will run in 10.0.5 and 10.0.6.

Thanks Ben,

Actually I wanted to find out from those who have bought and to make sure they dont really have any problem or "conflict" with 10.0.6.

This is because I once bought some plugin for my FCE4 and the website says it is compatible but after I installed it my FCE4 gone haywire. The website then acknowledge the problem and offered to give me other plugins of equivalent value. But it is the phobia of having to reinstall the Fina Cut again that I afraid of.

So, anyone (not quite sure whether Ben has installed it) already installed this plugin without problem ?

Thanks again ...

Cheers

Hi Ben - The reason that the large image links don't work in your review is that the links are incomplete in the HTML.

You have:

Should be:

I am using Lion but I am sure there is no problem with Mountain Lion This is from Core Melt:

CoreMelt has tested our plugins under Mountain Lion in Final Cut Pro 7, Final Cut Pro X, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Motion. We are not aware of any issues causing problems under Mountain Lion, but we advise you to proceed cautiously with any major upgrade on a production machine.

Please make sure you have our latest version installed, we recommend you download and run our free update installer again after upgrading to Mountain Lion.

Plugins often consist of several files and folders and are often installed in a few places that are not in your Users folder but in the Root's Library folder.

In the case of Slice X the plugin itself is located in:

/Library/Plug-Ins/FxPlug/VTwinFx.fxplug

Then there are several more related files located at:

/Library/Application Support/CoreMelt

and /Library/Application Support/Final Cut Pro/Templates.localized

SliceX also installs some files in:

/Library/Graphics/Image Units

and /Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Patches
