Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Everytime I take pictures with the 5th generation iPod touch, they aren't taken in the 16:9 aspect ratio (despite the device being in that ratio). Is there as way to take wide photos instead of square ones?

What ratios is it being taken in?
Have you tried with the iPod in landscape mode?

When you look at the properties of the photos,what is the aspect ratio? It could be that the camera does not reflect the screen ratio.
My iPhone 4S is 3264X2448= 1.333333
yours is 2592X1364= 1.33884
5G display 1136X640= 1.77
Thus, the camera aspect ratio is bot the same as the screen ratio.
Math was never my strong point, that just went right over my head...
I know from movies that 1.33:1 is a 4:3 TV aspect ratio.
It's weird that Apple would make a square camera on a rectangle device.
I guess I'll just use the Panarama feature to make wide photos.
