I noticed one side of my eaphone doest work, so itried many others and its always one side that won't work? And I know its the ipod because when I try my earphones in another device both sides work perfectly. Is there a way I can fix it?

You'll need to have the iPod's headphone jack replaced. You can choose to have Apple do the repairs (which is actually an out of warranty exchange) or you can send it to a third party service who will have actually replace the iPod's headphone jack for a little less. Just Google for "iPod headphone jack repair."
