Connecting iPad camera connector to iPad using USB and connecting fe-230 Olympus camera - and nothing is happening. Can't find any note on manufacturer website that it isn't compatible - any ideas please?

Does your camera have a setting on it to enable PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol / Pictbridge) or 'mass storage device' ?

Hi there - the manuals state it's compatible with UBS mass storage device - can't find a menu setting to change it any thoughts?

I've had a quick look at a copy of the manual online and I can't see any mention of a setting to enable it, so I think that it should be compatible. The kit is firmly inserted into the iPad's dock ? You could try a soft-reset of the iPad and see if that makes any difference : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
