How do I create my Outlook email address on Outlook 2011 for Mac?

Hi, Have tried numerous methods via suggestions for this issue but cant solve it. Recently changed my hotmail address to the new outlook.com address. However I cant get the Outlook 2011 for Mac programme to recognise my outlook.com email account. Does anyone know the correct settings or how to fix this issue? Thanks
