Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I'm trying to upgrade to iTunes 10.7 from 10.6 on my windows 7 pc. I have tried to upgrade directly from itunes and manually by downloading and it fails both ways. It runs through the entire upgrade and hangs at the end and then rolls back.
Any suggestions on how to make this work?

Deep clean first. There is a tutorial how to manually - and you do need to manually clean out all the old Apple cache installers and other support files.. is here:

Thanks for the quick response. A combo of clearing my temp folder, restarting and downloading a new install and running from my desktop worked.
