Ipod Shuffle Problems.

Im getting the 2005 error message ive tried rebooting the computer reinstalling itunes resetting the ipod to no avail! The ipod is not now recognised by windows it was initially when i registered it as soon as i registered it i started getting this message ive read forum after forum any help would be much appreciated!
