iMovie 11 doesn't recognize my still photos in timelime after I drag them in from iPhoto 11.
I have OS 10.7.5 Lion. I thought they were too big so I made them smaller, still same problem. It show a green line and the plus sign when it's drag in the timeline, then nothing shows up. Why?
What format are they in, and where are you dragging them from?
There are jpgs.There are dragged in from the iPhoto icon in the iMovie display. Lower right corner.
I tried using the same jpg and method in a new project. No problem. Is there a problem in the first project? And can it be fixxed?
Hard to say sitting here! I would suggest redoing that project.
OK! Is there a way to copy everything including audio and titles and paste. I can copy and paste the video, but not the titles or music and sound effects.
I have exactly the same problem, tired every solution available online. This *****. I have a massive project and now no new pictures I import into it works - regardless of the pictures working if I import them into a new project. Situation: ****. Apple all over.
You too! Wow! Now what? I tried to drag again from iPhoto and it shows that I can Undo Add Photo in the File Drop menu. But it nevered showed in the timeline to begin with. Strange! Like I said the photo does show a Blue box around it when click on, then shows a + sign when dragged into the Project timeline. But then nothing appears. Any ideas for help? I even duplicated the Project and tried again with the duplicted project, same resluts. But it does work if you start a brand new project. Not ideal if you have a big project just about finished.
I'm in exactly the same position, picture imports fine into new project, just not at all into current project, which is also quite large.. in need of finishing off. There is no solution. The only solution I've come up with is just restart all over again in a new project, and just hope like **** it doesn't happen again.
