Why does my US holidays cal now have Islamic holidays?!?!

Opened my calendar today and all of a sudden Islamic holidays started showing up, I first noticed a problem when the calendar color changed, and when I changed it back, it changed itself again. I deleted it and installed it again from a different place. The new one didn't have them, however the old one mysteriously appeared again!! I don't want a politically correct calendar, I want only the events that affect my schedule.

This may be true, but an option to take them off would be useful. As for Christmas & Easter, they are in the calendar as they are national holidays!

Same problem with me. I'm only interested in U.S. holidays. If I want holidays other than U.S. I'll subscribe to that calendar.

I have all sorts of weird holidays: Diwali, Islamic New Year, Kwanzaa. What is going on? This is not appearing on my ipad or my mac, just on my iPhone and they all sync through the same calendar (which I have not changed) on the iCloud.

Not just the US. My UK holidays is now also showing Islamic holidays. As much as certain religions and country have there own holidays the last thing I need to know is when "Diwali" is!!! Sorry to anyone I might offend, but I am not Islamic and I am not I don't get a day off, so I don't care about it!!!

Yikes, last time I checked US citizens are allowed to be of the Islamic faith henceforth holidays of the Islamic faith are US holidays for Islamic Americans. Same goes for UK, no?

Otherwise we should take out Easter and Christmas.

iCal isn't a Christian only calendar last time I checked.

Same here. I suspect that iCal subscriptions have been hacked by someone for political purposes. Please fix or give subscribers the power to edit subscribed calendars.
