I need to delete a measure and move the region from the right to fill in the gap. When I do that all the notes in the region to the right that I pulled over change. The rhythm is right, but the notes are wrong, either too high or too low. Very peculiar. Can anyone provide some insight? I am using Logic Expres 9 on Mountain Lion.

Global tracks: Transposition? Chord Track?

I haven't transposed yet, but I added a chord track and had it analyze for chords. Is that the problem? If so, how do get around it? I tried deleting the chord track but it didn't help.

Yep, the Chord track can cause disasters like this. Unless you have decent backups (check the project folder) you may be out of luck.

So, lesson learned: I should not use chord tracks until I am finished with the song, or at least have all the measures completed that I want. Thanks for the insight, and now I know about back ups in the project folder as well. Thanks!
