Go to Settings>General>Cellular and turn Enable LTE to Off.
Go to Settings>General>Cellular and turn Enable LTE to Off.
but why does it matter? it'll automatically fallback to 3g if it canot connect to LTE. is there any advantage you see in forcing LTE to be off?
It can suck your battery dry if you're in a spotty LTE area as the phone keeps trying to connect to LTE.
Exactally what randers4 said. Thanks for the help.
You're welcome.
Well I kinda found out a work round...and it's been working for me every single time... What I do is I enable 3G in the cellular settings. Then I scroll back to Carrier in my setting and change it from Automatic to Manual. So what Does it actually does is that it searches for each network and since 3G is enabled it will search for your Carrier in 3G mode. So whenever my 3G goes I just go to Carrier select a different network for like 5 seconds and then select my default network... I have been using this method and it works like 9/10 If not 10/10. Well I hope it helps you all..
Thanks Sommadina, your work around did fix my problem, since my iPhone 5 does not have that LTE option. Cheers! 🙂
Hi, the workaroung from Sommadina works for me as well (don't have the LTI option either). But if i try to share the connection whrough Personal-Hotspot over WiFi, it gets back from '3G' to 'E' 😟.
USB sharing works well and fortunatelly, solved my problem....
I didn't try BT...
