HUB PRINTABLE VS. NON HUB PRINTABLE

I'm about to buy some INKJET printable DVD-R, can anyone tell me what's the difference in:

Verbatim 4.7GB 8X DVD-R White Inkjet Hub Printable 50 Pack Disc

and

Verbatim 4.7GB 8X DVD-R White Inkjet Printable 50 Pack Disc -

basically, what is the difference between HUB PRINTABLE and just PRINTABLE other than 10-dollars?

thanks

Hub Printable let's you print almost to the inner diameter, while regular printable only lets you print to roughly 3/4" away from the center hole. (I'm sure you've seen DVDs or CDs that are printed almost to the center hole and ones that have an unprinted ring of about 3/4")

Thanks for the explanation. But what does "hub" mean? My Canon inkjet printer (IP5200), in addition to printing on paper, has a tray which carries the DVD under the print head. Is that hub printing?

I ask because some DVDs sold can take hub printing and some can't, so I need to know what my printer does.

Thanks.
