Publishing removed .swf files

I'm using iWeb '09 and it appears the when I publish the site, it removes my .SWF file from the published folders.

The SWF file belongs to a page that has HTML on it linking to that file using the html snippet in iWeb.

If I make changes to the page and publish it, it seems like it wipes the entire folder for that page and re-publishes only files for that page. (Which technically that .swf file is not part of)

Is this normal behaviour?

Will it behave the same if I publish using FTP direct to the site?

Thanks

If iWeb does what you describe, then keep your swf file OUTSIDE the published folder.

You may have to re-adjust the pathname to the file in the HTML snippet.

In general, do not put custom files inside the folder with the sitename.
