After leaving the iPod to charge for at least 30 minutes, have you tried resetting it?

You don't indicate how long you "left it." It's possible you drained the battery.
I left it for 2 hours, and ive tried charging it but it still doesn't work.
Okay, so after leaving it to charge, did you try and reset it again?

Yeah. I've charged it for 30 minutes tried resetting it, then i tried holding down the play button, and switching the hold button on then off but still nothing..
Sounds like the Nano as good as dead. Could be a bad battery or worse something with the logic board. Either way, your iPod needs to be serviced or replaced. You can have the iPod swapped out for a flat fee via Apple or you can choose to have the iPod repaired by a third party service.
