Can't accept meeting requests on iOS 6

Anyone else not able to accept meeting requests on iPhones with iOS 6? We're synching our iPhones using Exchange Active Sync, but if anyone on our organization sends a meeting request to anyone else here, they're not able to accept (or decline, or chose "maybe") using their iPhones. We have a variety of iPhones (3's, 4's, and 5's) and iOS versions (4.x, 5.x, 6.x), and the common thread seems to be any device with iOS 6 (pre-iOS 6 devices are able to accept meeting requests). Just updated to iOS 6.0.1, but still not able to accept meeting requests.

I realised over the last week that this stopped working on my iOs devices also. I am on Office 365 (Microsoft Hosted exchange) - i had not made the connection of when exactly this stopped working. On my side, I think that the problem may have started when iOS6.1 got pushed to my device. I am checking with Microsoft for support and will post back when (if) resolved....😕

Hi Shaun - My call to Microsoft was futile - "Issues is not with us, contact Apple" - Though they did do some searching to find out that I am not the only one with the issue.

I am running office 365 (which is Microsoft hoted exchange) and the connection to iphone is via active synce as well (I Think) as this is set up as exchange under mail calendar contacts setting in iOs.

The solution that is working for me now is that I logged on the the user (i.e not administrator) web interface of Outlook in office 365 , (Outlook web app) and under options settings calendar, and under automatic processing clicked (on) the check box for Automatically process requests and responses from external senders which was previously off Now items show up in the invitations box in the iOs calendar, (the y did before) but are only pending in the calendar - the accept decline maybe buttons now control what happens to the item (ie whether added to calendar or not) and send the appropriate response to the external sender.

Hope this helps as it has solved my problem.

You're a genius! I enabled the Automatic Calendar Processing on my account and boom - problem solved. We're in the exact same boat (hosted Exchange with Office 365). I went about it a little differently than you and ran the following PowerShell command:

Set-CalendarProcessing -Identity <username> -AutomateProcessing autoupdate

Didn't mess with the "Responses from external sender settings". I'll test meeting invites from outside senders later, but my immediate concern was getting internal requests to work. Thanks a bunch!
