Configuration?

Any views on whether there is actually much difference between the 2.3GHz or 2.6GHz or 2,7GHz Quad Core i7 processors and also the RAM upgrade from 8GB to 16GB. My main use is Photography and using Aperture

iMac 24"

Get as much RAM & Processor you can afford, with RAM being more important. From Aperture, you may go to Photoshop, & you'll be glad you have that 16GB's.

You're welcome.

Aperture is really a photo management program, while Photoshop is a photo editing program. Most folks, if they get deep into photography, use either Aperture or Lightroom to manage, & Photoshop to edit. Keep that in mind as you make your choice.
