I've been using notes on my iPhone, MacBook Pro, and iPad without any problems whatsoever. I could create a note on one device and it would instantly show up on all the others. All of a sudden, today I created a VERY important note using my MacBook. When I was done, I closed my Notes app. I reopened it later and the note was gone. It wasn't on any other device either.

I created a new note on my iPad just for the heck of it to see if it would sync, and low and behold, it didn't!!! Then I noticed that iCloud was not turned on for my Notes. I'm positive that it was before. When I turned it on on my MacBook, it asked me to create a new e-mail address for "@icloud.com". I'm guessing that this is something new, and that's why everything has changed.

How can I get all my notes to sync between my devices again? Why did everything change?

Thanks in advance.
