Mail has a question mark ? and it won't open I have an eMac PowerPC 1.42GHz 10.5.8 Leopard? URGENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to find it on the hard drive, and if it's not there, reinstall it and run the Mac OS X 10.5.8 combo updater.
