Dock and Menu bar disappeared?

I was on the internet, using safari version 5.1.7 and i accidentally hit a button (which? I have no idea), and it got rid of my dock at the bottom and the menu bar along the top, however it is only when I'm in safari. When I minimize safari and click on my default screen? I'm not sure what you call it, they come back. When I click on safari again, they disappear. I tried the command - control - f but that did not solve the problem. Anyone know how to fix it? Please . . .

Safari is in Full Screen mode.

When an application is in Full Screen mode Menu bar,Toolbar and Dock are hidden

To enter Full Screen mode, take one of these steps

1. The grey double arrow icon at the top right end of the window is clicked.

2. "Enter Full Screen" is selected from Safari's "View" menu'.

3. Shortcut shift + command + F is used.

To exit Full Screen Mode, take one of these steps.

1. Press esc key and hold.

2. Move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen and hold.

In the dropdown click the blue double arrow icon at the top right end of the window.

3. Click the Safari view menu and select "Exit Full Screen".
