how do i increase bitrate of quicktime export

I am trying to export a recorded Keynote slideshow as Quicktime H.264 for use on Brightcove's video platform.

The file output has a video bitrate of between 300 and 500 kbits per second, which is very low (I need more like 5,000). Even when I select the option for High Quality, or set a "limit" to the bitrate of 5,000 (or more) I still get 300-500. I presume this is because the simple slide transitions don't "need" a high bitrate, however this is causing problems for me with Brightcove's multi-rendition functionality, so I need to somehow force Keynote to export at higher bitrate.

To be clear, the file I'm creating looks and sounds absolutely fine, it's just I need a higher bitrate for Brightcove.

Any help hugely appreciated.
