This is not a place for "debate". It's a technical support forum. As you've been told repeatedly, discussions of Apple policies are prohibited by the TOS.

Who gives you the right to tell anyone anything? Or are you some kind of super-moderator who's allowed to tell people what to do in an offensive manner, somehow without breaking the TOS yourself? What people choose to discuss is none of your business, especially when the topic is one as serious as this.

Enough guys, he's been put in his place.. We probably won't be seeing him here anymore.

debating with belgians really isn't worth the effort

    Wow, really?

We TRY to debate with you two, but all you and KiltedTim do is point to the TOS and trying to shut us up.

Exactly. Nothing like making yourself look daft while trying to be clever...

AFAIK this is not a policy, unless it is a policy to willingly discriminate networks? Or is it a decision?

Haa, who knows, right? I'm glad that you're still being ignorant.

By the way, you're still breaking those two rules. You're trolling us too.

    How about taking a hike?

  • flibbertygibbet Level 1 Level 1

Exactly. As it hasn't officially been disclosed as being a policy or a procedure, it's presumably OK to discuss this situation.

    Hi,

Moving on from all the noise over the last few days, I have a technical question.

Can anybody advise how my Proximus carrier profile file on my iPad can be copied to my iPhone 5.

    Thanks

  • bennydirinck Level 1 Level 1

I know it works, I did it once. I also undo it after a while because iMessages was blocked and did not function anymore.

I found the solution on Google, so try this first.... If you can live without iMessage then this is your choice :-)

  • poutchi Level 1 Level 1

It is not working anymore. Apple blocked it since iOS 7

Thank you poutchi, bennydirinck and BartJanssens for your ideas and replies. I had a glimmer of hope to break the 4G impasse.

I've just been back to the UK last week and I popped my new Three on 4G SIM card into my Belgian phone. 4G came alive and the experience was wonderful. It was like an awakening.

Coming back to Belgium and putting my old SIM card back in my phone and seeing 4G disappear was depressing!

    Dear All,

I only asked if there was a way to contact Apple directly about this issue. Whether LTE will or won't be activated on our phones. And yes I pointed out that LTE is available on the iPad mini.

    Yet my posts were removed.

I find this hard to believe.

I am very disappointed, I've been using Apple products for more then 20 years, I stayed with Apple when things went bad.

I'm sorry if I've offended you.

I'll log of now I won't come back.

    Good Bye

    Bart

I made a fairly innocuous post earlier, but that was deleted. A bit pathetic really, given some of the abusive drivel which is allowed to remain. Apparently what I posted was considered off-topic, or not technical enough. All very strange, and not very helpful. No doubt this will also be deleted... ho hum...
