Comcast email Pop account - Missing Folders
I am using Mail with my Comcast.net email address. It is a POP account. How can I get my folders to show up there?

You can't. POP accounts don't work that way, you can't sync or have folders on multiple devices. Doing so requires an IMAP or Exchange account.

You can't. POP on the iPhone does not support folders. You need an IMAP, iCloud or Exchange account for folders.
You do not. A POP account does not have the folders on the iPhone reflect what is on other devices. You need an IMAP or Exchange account for that.

I am having the same problem, my email is a hotmail account, is this a pop account, I don't know what poo accounts are
Go to Settings/Mail,contacts,calendars. Tap on the name of the account. Near the top, just below the account switch, it will say "POP ACCOUNT INFORMATION" or just above the Account field it will say "IMAP".
Hi Lawrence, thanks for that, I am using version 7.02 of iOs on both my iPad and iPhone, on my iPhone when I go to setting , mail, and tap my hotmail account, it seams to default all the information to pop.
The host name is pop3.live.com and SMTP is SMTP.live.com.
My also on same iOS version is different for the same email account. It says outlook, and I can add all my email folders on here unlike on my iPhone I can't. Is this down to how it was set up by me.my emails on both devices are out of sink now where as before input on the new version of software they were in sink !!
Anyone able to give me any pointers!
