How do I transfer my movies from my mac mini to my mac air?

I have transfered music and movies from my mac mini to my phones and ipads. However, not sure how to transfer info to my mac air. I am sure its quite simple, just getting started with "the changeover"

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

I would suggest using migration assistant:

If you don't have too many files you could also use airdrop:
