Q: CAn the plan last just one month?

I want to use the cellular data plan for a trip but don't need a two year plan. Can I buy the service for one month?

iPad, iOS 6.0.1, for travel

    yeah, if you buy the ipad from Aplle it comes unlocked.  If someone tries to tell you you need a contract then either the service provider that person is selling is only allowing contracts, or the salesman is pushing you into more than you need.  Make sure you make it very clear you need a pre-paid sim card if you are only going to be down for that long.
