Can't find my movie clips in iMovie

I have an iPad 2 and have bought the app iMovie. I used the built in camera on the ipad to shoot some video. When I go to iMovie and click on "add media" there is nothing under video. How come iMovie is not finding my movie clips from camera roll? Must be doing something wrong. Would love some help with this. Thanks! Kelly
