How do I create a stack?
Brand new MacBookPro. Coming from the Windows world (yeah, I know). I would like to group some items on the dock. How do I create a stack so I can group these together?
TIA
OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Create a folder, drag those items into it, and drag that folder to the Dock. Items to the left of the Dock's divider line can't be stacked.

So I cannot stack the items I want to stack...I would like to be able to group applications together. I will find another way.
