Apple says to only use water (no chemicals) and a microfiber cloth. Some of the links say use a baby wipe.
The iPad fits nicely in a gallon size ZipLoc bag. After use, you could discard the bag and then cover with a new one. The buttons and screen works when covered with the bag.
Cheers, Tom

Nov 7, 2012 8:24 PM in response to windwidowby Andrei_O,90~99% Isopropyl alcohol on a microfiber cloth (slightly damp). You can use surgical gloves while doing this. Careful not the get liquid inside any openings. After this you could place the iPad in a clear ziplock bag.
