No. macBook Pro needs to be early 2011 (other Macs Mid-2011) to support airplay mirror.
A third party app called airparrot (airparrot.com) can give you mirroring on older Macs like yours for about 10 bucks. I have found it works like mirror as I have both.

However I don't understand why this would be since I can stream HD movies to an Apple TV no problem. So what's the issue with just streaming a screen...?
