No back up of photos stored inside a disk image

If you you the solution "Alternatively, move the iPhoto library to a disk image" for photos how do you then ensure that time machine will backup the content of the the disk image? Time machine will not do this by default and I have not found a solution.

I have seen severel solution for that but none of them is not working well. One solution is to make a script that mount the disk image so Time Machine see is a "non removable disk". But this will prompt all user user for a administrator password. Not workable.

And this is for sharing of iphotos within the family and also on the same Mac with multiple accounts.

Best to ask that on the Time Machine forum, or simply set it to back up the Disk Image.

Maybe someone have a better solution for sharing photos so that was the reason for posting it here. And the solution was described by Apple under iPhoto sharing.

Cloud you please explain how it is possible to get Time Machine to backup the disk image. That was actually the main problem with this sharing solution.
