I want to create a dynamic document that can then have other content added by non-techy users, including text and images. This document can then be either printed or emailled.

Hello everybody,

This is my first question and my first post. I am a new Apple user and a new community member. My question is the title of the discussion:

I want to create a dynamic document that can then have other content added by non-techy users, including text and images. This document can then be either printed or emailled.

Can anybody help?

Thank you Ewen, I think I should have explained it a little more.

I want to create a document with editable areas, like a dynamic PDF. I want it to have a background that I can change. I then want this document to be available to my end users who can then add text or images to the editable areas, but nothing more. They can then send this edited document on via email or by printing it out if they wish.

Thankyou wjosten,

Instead of document, perhaps I should have described it as a form or even staionery. I am creating this 'form' for a company and they want their branding to appear on the 'form'. I can create it as an HTML email but this would mean I have to create one every time they want to send one out. What they really want is a staionery form template that allows them to add text or even drag and drop pictures into it, but the whole document retains their branded formatting. Once they are happy with the content they have added they can choose whether to print it or email it. I thought that there may be an Apple software solution to the problem.

I think that you're just going to have to take a look at Adobe Acrobat Pro XI - there's a trial version of it here.

It allows collaborative comments, forms, even placeholders in which you can exchange comments. photos, etc. I'm not a real 'expert' (though I am called one on the Acrobat forum) but I think you should at least give it a trial run.
