iPhone cellular data stopped working with iOS 6

After I updated to iOS 6 the cellular data stopped working on my iPhone. I waited for the next update (6.0.1) as it said it will resolve these issues, but nothing happened.

I also tried to restore the phone which helped but that every time I restore from backup the problem is back. Is there a way to transfer my messages and photos to the new clean phone without the rest of the backup?

Try a Reset of Network Settings only.

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

It will not effect your personal data like messages & photos.
