I use safari to go to aol.com and open my mail from there. My mail is listed, but when I click on a mail item, safari tries to open it and just hangs up. This started on 11/6/2012 and is happening on my ipod touch and on my iphone 4.

I use safari on my itouch and iphone 4 to access my mail via aol.com, it is faster go get mail that way. Since 11/7/2012, the mail folder appears, but when I click on a piece of mail, safari tries to open it and then hangs up. This happens on both devices. The itouch has the most up to date ios, the iphone has ios 5 because of issues I noticed when I updated the itouch.

This is a new problem that just started, and is happening on both devices, so is it an aol problem or a safari problem. aol.com mail is working fine on my pc where I use aol software.

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1

Based on another post similar to this, I reset the devices, went into Safari settings, deleted history, data, and cookies and the problem resolved.
