What happened to my gavel emoji??

For me, it meant a day in court. I'm an attorney, and it was one of my most used emojis on my calendar app. The gavel emoji with the client's name indicated that I had a hearing for that client. I also use the telephone emoji to indicate a telephone conference, and other emoji to stand in for words so that items actually fit in my calendar without being truncated.

I would like to know where it went also!

Oh. Emojis express so much more than words, with so much less effort! It's the forefront of human evolution and I refuse to be setback by Apple's deconstructive tinkering. R.I.P. Steve Jobs, I am going Google.

How strange. All along I've been laboring under the delusion that the written word was an advance over crude pictures. In solidarity, I will, going forward, only sent text messages (should we now call them emoji messages) compsed entirely of little pictures.
