Contact the carrier to ensure that there is no issue with their network.

Nov 8, 2012 8:11 AM in response to diesel vdubby GPCCISSUPPORT,This has been going on for 2 weeks and noe of the rest of the iPads we hav ein service are experiencing the issue. I just upgraded the iPad to iOS version 5 a few days ago to try and alleviate the issue to no avail. When there is a major vesion upgrade does it automatically reset the network settings?

If you restore from backup, default option then no.
If you setup as new after the update, yes.
