MacBook pro beep

My macbook pro beeps once when I wake it from sleep and turn it on. What do I do about not having RAM installed... and why didn't it come installed on my computer?!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

To see how much RAM is installed, choose About This Mac from the Apple Menu. The Memory field specifies the amount of RAM installed in the computer.

Reset the PRAM

The Ram may have become unseated

and take it out and put it back in one stick at a time


Failure after that will be appointment to a Genius Bar
