MBP hates MS Office CDs

I tried to install my copy of MS Office on my new MacBook Pro, and it would not accept the CD. It made some noises and then spit it out. I tried Office v.X, Office 2004 Upgrade, and a full Office 2004. All CDs had the same problem - they never mounted and were rejected.

I inserted several other CDs, and they didn't have any problems (at least I could mount them), including MS VirtualPC, Canvas, The Incredibles DVD, and the MCP install disk.

All 3 MS Office CDs were rejected, every other CD or DVD mounted. Does anyone have an idea of what is wrong?

(Note: I did update the firmware and OS before trying the CDs)
