Want to sync my Iphone to a new computer. When I try, Itunes says that the contents of the phone will be erased and replaced. Does "contents" mean music/video? My concern is I have apps that contain data that I do not want to lose e.g. password app, note app, etc. Of course I'm going to do a backup before I do anything but want to know what the impact will be.

You have to copy your entire itunes from your old computer to a usb drive or backup drive and reload it onto your new computer or you will not have that itunes library on your new computer.
I've already transferred my Itunes library to my new computer. Honestly, I'm not all that concerned about the music, etc. I have apps on the phone that contain data e.g. I have a password app where I store all my passwords. I have an Office app that stores documents and spreadsheets. I want to know if syncing to the new computer will wipe out the actual data contain within the app. I know I can get the music back and even the app back. Just concerned about the data within the app
If you do the backup first, you should not lose the info contained in the app. I did not lose mine when i recently did the same.
