Can you use the itunes gift card to pay for apps, too? I can only seem to make it work for movies, music, and shows. Do I need an apple gift card to get the apps? Thanks!

I've used iTunes gift cards to purchase apps from the App Store and from the Mac App Store (as well as music, films and tv shows from iTunes), so you should be able to use them to buy apps.
