When I get info on my "MacHD" and watch the amount of space available, it DECLINES as I watch it. In 5 minutes, it dropped 1.6 MB. If this continues, it will totally fill my computer. No apps are open.
How can I find out what is eating up my space and put a stop to it??

Get Disk Inventory X which gives a graphic representation of your disk contents.

Thanks for the response. That is a great program to tell me how big every file/program is on my computer. It doesn't tell me what is running.
At the Apple store one time, they opened some program that showed what was open and running and it showed the size changes as it was running. Would you happen to know what that might have been or something like it?

Yes it is Activity Monitor and is in your Applications/ Utilities folder.
